Your Opportunity

We have an opening for a Sales Executive -- or "Producer" -- in our Midwest Region. This position gives you access to C-level executives with the opportunity to create business solutions that achieve their business objectives. This newly created position offers a singular set of rewards, including:

You will work with your clients on a "Total Business Solution" that is much more than insurance -- you will lead elite team of highly motivated professionals in claims, loss control, marketing and customer service to reduce client risk and negotiate competitive, comprehensive program design options.   • Compensation: The compensation package is a tiered plan that includes a base + commission plan for your first few years, and an earning potential of $120K - $150K. Once you exceed your targets, you will transition to a commission plan with a realistic earning potential of $250+K.

Qualifications

  • 5 + years proven consultative sales experience, preferably in professional services, finance or insurance. Your sales experience should include:
    • extensive experience selling to C-level contacts and knowledge of the issues they face;
    • consistent over achievement of sales quotas;
    • proven ability to understand enterprise wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions; and
    • ability to flourish in a team-selling environment.
  • A strong local network of business contacts in one of the following metropolitan areas: Grand Rapids or Detroit, MI; Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville or South Bend, IN.

HUB International is an organization that is structured around large regional "HUBs" with satellite offices strategically located throughout the United States and Canada. Locally, HUB offers personal service, individual attention and has the ability to respond quickly to our client's changing needs.

Hub Midwest has operations in six locations in Michigan and one in Evansville, Indiana, and our regional headquarters is located in Grand Rapids, MI. Ideally, you will join the Grand Rapids offices where the majority of our sales team is based; however, we are open to a home office set-up for the right individual if you business network is concentrated in: Detroit, MI; or Indianapolis, Fort Wayne or South Bend, IN.

The role has "classic" sales responsibilities, and you will spend the majority of your time prospecting, setting meetings and conducting discovery sessions with both existing and new clients. You will be representing complex, tailored services to a sophisticated audience. Your consultive selling ability, solid business acumen and exceptional problem solving skills will allow you to lead a team of industry experts in creating the most appropriate Total Business Solution. With this service team solution, you'll be able to start selling immediately. This will be complimented with extensive ongoing training so that you can become a subject matter expert over time.
